FABULOUS SALTAIRE 50's style coat, with large framed real mink fur collar! HISTORIC PIECE - Titus Salt was the first to manufacture this fabric in 1853 in the English coastal town of Saltaire, establishing a model village there for his workers. This is just part of the fascinating history behind the Saltaire fabric. This particular coat carries the label of SALTAIR FABRIC and has the alpaca emblem. There is a tag inside the lining that reads Size 16, Cloth 18A, Style 8046X, Order No. 97, Desc 2584. The fabric of this coat has a gentle sheen to it. It is authentic vintage and pre-owned. Accessories not included.
GREAT FEATURES:
Black Satin lining in good condition with the exception of one wear spot. Lining is lined with heavier knit fabric on reverse side. Chamois back lining between lining and coat fabric. Two side slit pockets, storm cuffs, shelf collar - 50's style, wide 5"-7" mink collar with front hook up.
