SPECTACULAR Aynsley England Bone China signed D. Jones. Fabulous fruit design exclusively hand-painted by Doris Jones, who worked for Aynsley from the 1930s to the 1960s. This pattern was the forerunner to the popular Orchard Gold, which was done by transfer process and not hand-painted and signed as were the earlier ones by Jones. The teacup measures 2 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Pattern number C1074 by John Aynsley & Sons. Backstamp dates from the early 1930's. There is minor gold wear on the under side of the handle. Definitely a SHOWCASE piece!
