Hattie Carnegie was a popular designer and fashion editor in the 20s, 30s and 40s.  She ran a fashion business that dealt in clothes, hats, perfumes, cosmetics, and more.  Her lines of accessories included costume jewelry pieces, several of which we have below. Of her signed pieces, those with the copyright symbol date from 1946, when she copyrighted her name. A sample of her copyright signature can be found on the back of her Dragon Pin we have.  The pieces below show Hattie's fondness for incorporating animals and other creatures in her costume jewelry.
