FABULOUS signed Florida tea cup and saucer, circa 1950. A delightful variety of fruit - pears, peaches, blackberries, apples, raspberries, and goose berries, and an assortment of fruit blossoms. The cup has a raised and scalloped motif with a lovely deco style squared handle.
The cup measures 2 5/8" tall and 3 3/8" across the top, while the saucer is 5 1/2" across. The set is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, but there is a 1/8" scratch on the underneath of the saucer. Seems to be some faded gold trim on the front of the handle. This sort of fingerprint mark looks as if the cup was picked up when the gold was still damp and some was brushed off.
