FABULOUS signed Florida tea cup and saucer, circa 1950. A delightful variety of fruit - pears, peaches, blackberries, apples, raspberries, and goose berries, and an assortment of fruit blossoms. The cup has a raised and scalloped motif with a lovely deco style squared handle.
The cup measures 2 5/8" tall and 3 3/8" across the top, while the saucer is 5 1/2" across. The set is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, but there is a 1/8" scratch on the underneath of the saucer. The gold trim is in good condition except for one fingerprint on the front of the handle which has faded gold trim. This mark looks as if the cup was picked up when the gold was still damp and some was brushed off.
