A GORGEOUS delicate yellow and white champagne roses tea cup and saucer by DELPHINE! This piece was manufactured under the Delphine name probably by J.H. Middleton & Co. which used this backstamp from 1930-1941. However, when the company changed to Middleton & Hudson, the stamp was also used in its early years of production. The set is in very good condition, including the gold trim. The cup measures 2 3/4" high and 3 1/2" across. The saucer measures 5 1/2" across. A true collector's piece as the stamp on this set was only used for 10-12 years, with production stopping in the early 1940's. |
