CLEAR SKY BLUE background with stylized branch and star gilt on this beautiful COLCLOUGH set.  The cup and saucer are in very good condition with no evident gold wear.  There are areas on the lip of the cup where the gold painting did not fill in the detailed wave of the rim.  The photo shows a slight wave to the cup and thinner gold on some of the indentation.  Pattern number 9171 Y.   The cup measures 2 3/4" high and 3 1/2" wide.  The saucer measures 5 1/2" wide with a wavy edge.  A WONDERFUL SET!
