Made by Chalet  Artistic Glass Ltd company in Cornwall, Ontario in the 1960's era.  This magnificent SIGNED CHALET (etched signature on base ) olive green curled art glass console is a delightful and rare piece!

The master craftsmen at Chalet used the famous Murano technique of sommerso to encase the olive colored glass within a thick layer of clear glass.  The olive green color of this fabulous piece is a rarely made color, and highly sought after.  These wonderful artisans have invested this piece with such character!  Notice how each angle of view presents such a unique and eye-catching fluidity of flowing curves and full clean curls! 

This fabulous Chalet piece measures 13 1/2 inches tall, from the top of the curved end to the bottom.  There is also a good deal of height from the top of the curled ends to the bottom, a measurement of 8 inches. The measurement from the outside edge of the glass across to the opposite outside edge is 10 1/2 inches.  Each curl itself measures 3 inches across from outside edges.

A FABULOUS retro representative of the 60's era in which it was made, and sure to be the center of attention in your CHALET glass collection.  Spectacular and breathtaking!
