Spectacular fire red Art Glass!  Long slender arms rise up to show off the fabulous base of cased glass red.  This piece is not signed but evokes the styling of  the famous AltaGlass makers.  The unique squared edges in contrast with the long arms combine with the sommerso red to give this piece its compelling look.

This magnificent piece measures 18 inches tall, from the top of the curved end to the bottom and 5 1/2 " from the top of the squared edges on the bowl to the bottom edge.  There is a width of 8" across the squared edges of the bowl.  The base is 3" across.  This piece has a warm orange yellow color reflection in different lighting which is characteristic of the lead and magnesium used to make this heavy and beautiful art glass piece.  Given the height of this piece, the fact it is in great shape is very significant, since not many pieces such as this one survive the years unbroken.
