FABULOUSLY designed MURANO art glass.   Unique cased cobalt blue with gold flecks in the style associated with the design house of Archimede Seguso by the artist Flavio Poli.   There is no tag on this item, although it bears a resemblance to pieces by the famous designer. The layers appear as outside clear glass, inside gold flecks, cobalt blue, then bubbles of different sizes, and a clear outside layer with clear glass folds.  Fantastic decorative piece in a RARE COBALT BLUE color.   Measures 5" diameter and 2 1/4" high.  In very good condition with minor surface scratches on the underside of the base consistent with the age of the piece.
