MURANO cased silver/platinum and gold flecked deep ruffled flower petal bowl in deep emerald green colored glass on the inside, with clear glass on the outside and clear petal folds.   The flecked silver and gold are intermingled in waves and appear to be in the same glass layer as the intermittent bubbles.  The bubbles are in groupings on one side and in areas near the top of the ruffles.

This FABULOUS free form design is a great representation of sommerso and precious metal dust which is a feature of the Italian glass design houses of Seguso and Barovier.  In very good condition with minor surface scratches and wear on the bottom consistent with the vintage age of the piece.  There is also an intentional indentation in the bottom.  There is a dark mustard color section on the bottom that looks like a coloration inconsistency.  A WONDERFUL art glass showpiece, and functional as a nut or candy dish.  Measures 5 1/2" in diameter on fold to point, and 2 1/2" high at top of fold.
