DELIGHTFUL hand cross stitched candles and holly adorn this traditional vintage cloth.  The material appears to be a feed sack or flour sack type of material as it is almost a herringbone weave of heavy cotton.

The tablecloth measures: 60" hemmed, 47" selvege.  This beautiful tablecloth has issues of 3 holes, 2 small pin holes, and one larger 1/4" area where the threads are fraying.  There are some very faded stains, which are not really noticeable, but do need to be mentioned.  The hemmed under edge has some fraying but does not affect the hem.  Considering the age of this tablecloth - maybe 30's or 40's - I would say it is in fairly good condition.  There are no bare or thin spots and the embroidery is very well done.
